Goalie Bio

Ok, about me.. Well I played out when I was kid. I never played net, thought those that did were nuts! Remember I played in the 1960s & 70s. Goalie equipment back then was not as protective! I got tired of not having two goalie a number of times, that I went out and rented the equipment in the 1980s for something like $100-$150 minus the skates (deer hair pads). I played my 1st game with normal hockey skates. Was I a natural? Hell NO! I was bad. But I loved playing net, so I decided to buy some equipment. I think I pay $1000 for a set, with or without the skates, I cannot remember

Years later, yearly broken bones, snapped tendon, arthritic right hip, I am still playing. I am the 1st to admit, I am so inconsistent in my play. I can be good one night and another, I suck the bag. I rate myself a 4-5 out of 10

I am a more of a stand up goalie, then a butterfly one. Hell I have such a narrow butterfly, lol
